COVID-19 Response

We are all affected by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. As the coronavirus has spread to Honduras, the Honduran government has closed their borders, closed all essential businesses, shut down air travel and public transportation, and the country is under military curfew. Due to the current restrictions, The Solidarity Project’s community events and programming are currently on hold. We are using technology as much as possible to remain in communication with our partners.
Honduras is a country with limited health care resources and many Hondurans already live in extreme poverty and as the country has shut down, many do not have access to food or basic needs.
The Solidarity Project is committed to standing in global solidarity with our communities here, in Honduras, and throughout the world.  We are working on creative ways to respond to the needs of our partner communities during this time of crisis.  On behalf of all of us at The Solidarity Project, stay healthy, spread love, and know you are all in our thoughts. All of us here and in Honduras very much appreciate your support especially during this hard time.
