Rosaria Trichilo serves as the Secretary of The Solidarity Project's Executive Board bringing a diverse collection of experience ranging from community organizing, education, grant writing and management, to data visualization analysis, synthesis and dissemination. Rosaria’s involvement with The Solidarity Project began in 2010 when she served as a Passionist Volunteer International in Talanga, Honduras during the infancy of the project.

In 2016, she received her Master in Public Health from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine with a concentration in Maternal and Child Health. Rosaria currently works for the Louisiana State Department of Health as a coordinator for the CDC sponsored pregnancy risk surveillance system where she works to collect, analyze and disseminate statewide data to determine risk factors that impact maternal and child health within Louisiana.

 

Rosaria's professional interests include health equity and disparities, reproductive health, and interagency partnerships in the interest of improved community health, especially for women and children. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering in Baton Rouge, where she lives, by helping to rebuild homes for victims of natural disasters and working for housing equity.
